Lateral is a curated job board and briefing service focused on real estate finance, investment management, and adjacent sectors. We aggregate senior-level professional opportunities sourced directly from company career pages and present them through our web platform and email digests.
Lateral is not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or employer. We have no affiliation with any company whose openings appear on our platform, and we play no role in the hiring process.
You must be at least 18 years of age to subscribe. Associate tier pricing requires a valid .edu email address. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and revoke discounted pricing if the requirement is not satisfied.
Lateral offers two paid tiers:
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time through the Manage Subscription link in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.
Both paid tiers include a 7-day complimentary trial at no charge. The trial period is provided so that you may fully evaluate the Service — including the scope of coverage, the number of listings, and the quality of data — before any payment is collected.
If the Service does not meet your expectations for any reason, you may cancel at no cost before the trial concludes. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to paid and your payment method will be charged.
All subscription fees are non-refundable. By continuing past the complimentary trial period, you acknowledge that you have had a reasonable opportunity to evaluate the Service and accept it in its current form. We do not issue refunds or credits for partial months, unused time, dissatisfaction with coverage scope, or changes to the number of firms, listings, or contacts available on the platform.

Listings on Lateral are sourced from publicly accessible career pages and verified at the time of collection. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of any listed opportunity. Roles may be filled, withdrawn, or modified by the employer at any time. Always confirm details directly with the firm before applying.
The number of firms monitored, active listings, and contacts available on the platform fluctuates over time as companies add, fill, or remove positions. Any figures cited on our website or marketing materials (e.g., "500+ firms") are approximate, subject to change, and do not constitute a guarantee of any minimum level of coverage or content volume.
Key Personnel contact information is provided as a professional courtesy to help subscribers identify relevant hiring contacts. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of contact data, and we are not responsible for the content or policies of third-party platforms linked from our service.
The Lateral name, mark, editorial methodology, platform design, and website are our intellectual property. Job listing content remains the property of the respective employers and is reproduced under the understanding that it constitutes factual, publicly available information.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY LISTING OR CONTACT INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT, OR THAT THE PLATFORM WILL CONTAIN ANY MINIMUM NUMBER OF FIRMS, LISTINGS, OR CONTACTS AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LATERAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELIANCE ON CONTACT INFORMATION OR JOB LISTING DATA. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LATERAL IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, including misuse of Key Personnel data. In the event of termination for our convenience, we will refund any prepaid fees on a pro-rata basis.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Active subscribers will be notified by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts in Delaware.
